Forbes Mag Cites "Freelance Economy"

Big article in Forbes Magazine yesterday called, "The Freelance Economy: Millions of Entrepreneurs - and a Vital Social Venture" featuring an interview with none other than Sara Horowitz, Executive Director of our partner, Freelancers Union, and (also author of the brand new, The Freelancer's Bible, the perfect gift for the new -- or old -- freelancer):

When the Federal Reserve Bank of New York  named Freelancers Union founder and executive director Sara Horowitz to its board of directors last week, it quietly sent a signal that the role of the third of all Americans classified as “independent workers” is growing in the quasi-public halls of big finance.

It goes on to talk about how the term "freelancer" (which we've debated here on this blog) is moving from a euphemism for "unemployed" to something more in line with "meaningful independence."
