Does your business have signs of new growth?

Lidia VarescoAs I walked around my Chicago neighborhood on a warm May day, I saw many signs of new growth in the trees. After a long snowy winter it was a welcome sight. Spring had finally arrived and with it, new growth and potential for the future.

This got me thinking: what new growth was I currently experiencing in my small business? What was I doing to prepare for, or create, future potential?

In addition to planning and transitioning for one of my major projects (my upcoming maternity leave), I realized I had a few other “new growth” projects in progress:

  • Revamping my online greeting card shop with a new look, more flexibility and improved SEO
  • Planning a PR campaign for my business

What about you? Is your business experiencing new growth this spring? Share in the comments.

BTW: If you need a little inspiration to spur that growth, join us in Chicago, June 23-24 for the 4th Annual Creative Freelancer Conference. All the details and registration at www.creativefreelancerconference.com
